The weekend is here again for me. Sunday starts my weekend and I got up late. I ate breakfast in front of the television and saw the new Toyota Tacoma vs. Loch Ness Monster commercial for the first time.
It made me smile. I’m enjoying their Tacoma-survives-the-extraordinary ad campaign. The concepts include those ideas that entertain me.
Remember their older meteor strike commercial? (Here is the video on youtube if you want a refresher.)

Speaking of advertising and fiction...
ReplyDeleteI watched most of the movie Cujo when I got off work yesterday. I hadn't seen it for years! The husband is in advertising, and responsible for creating ads that said a cereal with red dye was good for you. Then thousands of kids started peeing red and there was a scare that almost lost him the ad campaign. He's off fixing that problem with Cujo goes rabid.
That Stephen King!
Wow you watched Cujo? All by yourself?
ReplyDeleteI can't EVER watch that. I can watch the Excorsist, Jaws and Silence of the Lambs and not bat an eye. Cujo? NOpe, no way.
YOu are brave.
As to your post?
TEEHEE< and LOL!
The book Cujo is way worse than than the movie. I haven't watched it in years either...
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny, BTW. :)
I've never seen Cujo or read the book. I should. Stephen King is so talented at making things that are normal horrific.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog post. It had be cracking up.
