I Broke My Boycott and Regret It

I broke my own boycott and watched the darn Kentucky Derby this year and sadly that means I watched another horse die for our entertainment ... my entertainment. SAD! Still sucks to be a race horse.

An Arctic Scene

An Arctic Scene I wouldn't say this image of a polar bear and owls in the arctic is realistic, but I thought it was lovely. I found it below... The Rules of Eating Chocolate

The Rules of Eating Chocolate 1. If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly. 2. Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices & strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want. 3. The problem: How to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. The solution: Eat it in the parking lot. 4. Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It'll take the edge off your appetite and you'll eat less. 5. If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge. Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves. 6. If I eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet? Don't they actually counteract each other? 7. Money talks. Chocolate sings. 8. Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger. 9. Q: Why is there no such organization as Chocoholics Anonymous? A: Because no one wants to quit. 10. P

Scratchback.com's TopSpots

A sure-fire way of getting some links to your blog or website is to pay for them. Scratchback.com's TopSpots option is relatively cheap as advertising goes. I found my first TopSpot here , and noted the links sold for $2.00. As an author, I have spent up to $25 for a link (usually with image) that only lasted a month. From that perspective, spending $2.00 for a link that would be around awhile is absolutely reasonably priced. But I did note that for the people signing up for their own tip jar, their portion of the proceeds have to meet $25 and so these tips don't initially seem like they'll be a moneymaking endeavor. But at least they'd be a sure thing (as long as the participant was with the program). Though, I do hope the participant would have some say to keep completely inappropriate links of their side bar (like porn links on a family blog).
