I was watching a travel show in Russian in Namibia and ran across a verb that isn't that common. Here is the section in the video  Виндхук. Орёл и Решка. Мегаполисы. The presenters are in Namibia. Шкрябать doesn't translate well, at least right now in the online auto translators. But, able to find the definition of шкрябать at the page on the Russian Wiktionary (Викисловарь). шкрябать  то же, что скрести same as scrape царапать поверхность чего-либо to scratch the surface of something Scraping examples...
