Myspace Woes

I got online today after work and... my home page is set to my myspace account and this is what I see....

Invalid Friend ID.

I didn't do it.

Maybe it'll come back?

Maybe not.

  1. Hi Annalee. I just saw your comment about this on my blog so I went to my own MySpace page and looked through all my friends. Not only are you not there, but all the comments you’ve left me are gone also. I’ve heard about this happening to others as well. It happened to Mellow (the one who makes the cute glittery graphics), remember? I believe she had to start from scratch with a new page, but you can ask her just to be sure.

This is terrible. You had put so much work into your page, Annalee (it was beautiful!), and you had so many friends. It’ll take forever to get them all back and get the word out that the new account is you. I’m so sorry. :-(

  3. That's so weird...

Argh, like the blogger woes aren't enough, it sucks that myspace is being a jerk too.

  4. Aw, Annalee, I looked and looked when my numbers went down a few days ago--I knew someone had left but I didn't realize it was you or that your profile had been deleted.

You were the first friend I added and the reason I joined myspace!
    :*(

You should contact the admins and try to figure out what happened. Maybe they can set your page back up, or at least assure the return of your username? A friend on my list had her page hijacked just a few months ago, and she's still rebuilding, but she does still have her old name.

I wish you the best, and I'll be looking for you should you return!

  5. Good luck getting your myspace worked out - sometimes high-tech is just a big pain in the a$s...
