Still Working

Regarding my cyborg story being completed time for consideration for the anthology, that remains to be seen. I'm frustrated at the possiblity of missing the deadline because that is all I've been working on for so long! As you can see by dates of my last blogger.com post, I haven't been online for basically 2 weeks. I've exceeded the word length I was going for and now I'm in keep it under 30,000 words mode. All I have to do is finish the final scene and edit. That's all! That's it!

But then today... unexpected and voluntary OT tomorrow to make up for being sent home early today. I still have the same amount of free time, but it is an issue of quality. After 14 hours of working and commuting, my brains will be too scrambled to do anything constructive. Okay, off to work for a few hours on writing.

  1. Hang in there! I know it is hard to shift your brain from work mode to write mode, but...I don't want you to miss the deadline!

  2. I would sooo rather make a book longer than try to keep under a short word count! I have had a terrible time with novellas and short stories.
