Electric Planet

Electric Planet, originally uploaded by David Cartier.

I found David Cartier's Northern Lights pool of photos on Flickr this weekend and am awed. This isn't my favorite of the lot, but it is absolutely gorgeous anyway.

I've never had the pleasure of passing through Canada's Yukon Territory when the Northern Lights were dancing, but there is never a shortage of something beautiful to see. Every time I drive the highway I consider that the Yukon is one of the least populated areas on the planet, and how so many people are missing out.

Of course, I want to see Gao, India too.

    Thanks for posting this.
It reminds me that FACT is stranger and really more bizarre than fiction at times.
