I recently recorded Candles on Bay Street Hallmark DVD
on the DVR from the Hallmark Channel, and finally watched it this evening.
Wow! What a movie. Of course, that is probably because it was based on K.C. McKinnon's book: Candles on Bay Street
. I've decided I have to read it! But, it is 12 years old so on Amazon there are only used copies available. I'll have to keep an eye out for it at used book stores.
I've also decided that this just might be Alicia Silverstone's best movie to date. She really brought me into the story in a way she hasn't before. I've enjoyed her other movies too, but this one was really special.
