Something she said in the interview really caught my attention. Jenny Hart said someone once told her "that's just clip art" to which Hart responded "a lot of work went into making it look that way". I might not have the quotes exactly right, but I got the gist of the idea and it makes perfect sense to me! Not everyone wants an intricate tapestry hanging on their castle wall. Heck, some of us don't even own a castle. Some of us only need cute cherries on the corner of a hand towel in the hallway guest bathroom. Boils down to ... in art and design, beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
