Russian Lessons with Olga - Lesson 3 - Hard & Soft Consonants



This lady has a handful of useful videos about pronunciation of the Russian language for learners. The most important feature of a "good" Russian accent is the correct pronunciation of soft consonants. There
are 20 consonants in Russian, 15 of which are paired. It means they
occur in pairs of hard and soft versions. A soft consonant is pronounced
the same way as its hard counterpart.
