An quick, interesting video that gives a big of the history of the Yiddish language. I would probably find it really interesting to compare different languages if I were to study Yiddish. Though, the truth is, I'm not likely to study this language in the future because I tend to focus on the languages with the largest numbers of speakers. Saving this link is more wishful thinking than anything else. I may feel differently after I've finally learned Mandarin.
