I found my first penguin to adopt on FarmVille a short while ago. Why do so many people think penguins come from the "Nouth Pole"? I know I've seen the news media screw up that fact. I'm curious if there are people in New Zealand that think that polar bears come from the South Pole? You can see my first penguin here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=52961&l=402afb0c38&id=100000563132487 Penguin Media Screw-Up: A long time ago, the Exxon Valdez (being piloted by a drunk captain) dumped barrels of crude oil into Alaska's Prince William Sound. One of the major news networks (FOX wasn't even invented yet) reported that thousands of penguins had died in the oil slicks. I remember thinking at the time how unlucky could a flock of penguins get to set out for a 12,000 mile swim across the entire planet only to run across a man-made environmental disaster. YouTube wasn't invented yet either, so can't show you the clip. Coco-Cola's Adv
