I Need the News!

First DISH dumped Newsmax a few weeks back. I noticed the channel was gone, but I didn't watch enough to even look into why it was gone. Then FOX News disappeared from DISH. In social media they were blaming each other, and basically I was inclined to believe DISH's side. I missed it but didn't immediately join the crowd on social media proclaiming they'd leave immediately without their news. But, this morning I wake up and The Blaze is gone from DISH. I need the news! I was trying to watch BBC America. Man they are repetitive with their content.

во́дка - Vodka in Russian

во́дка (on Google Translate ) For people that are brand new to the Cyrillic alphabet, and perhaps find it a bit of a struggle to start reading, there are some easy Russian words where the spelling and pronunciation is nearly like the English equivalent. I'll post some on this blog using the "easy Russian words to read" tag below. For vodka [ во́дка] , the vowel sounds are different in the English pronunciation, but it is still an easy Russian word to read.  A few days back I posted a YouTube advertisement video Three Olives Vodka presents "Werewolves of London" by Masha. The place name London is also easy to read in Russian. Лондон.

Russian Keyboard Layout Image for Printing

Russian keyboard layout image copied from public domain image on Wikipedia and added to a 8.5 x 11 size image for easy printing. The first image has one keyboard this is plain, and one with the home keys ASDF and JKL; highlighted in yellow. Here is the link https://flic.kr/p/qv4Ys8 Here is another image I created with colors on the keys to help choose what finger to use with the different letters. This colored image is the one I ended up taping at the top of my computer monitor for a cheat sheet. But, I should note that I created this for myself before I learned to type on a Russian keyboard. It worked for me and I was soon able to type faster than I could spell in Russian.
