I saw this book by Guy Fieri on The Price is Right yesterday on the Food Lover's Showcase. They gave a copy to all the members of the audience. Back when I lived in Alaska and they didn't have an Olive Garden in the state I'd stop in at that national chain while I was on vacation. But, other than that excpetion, almost every other dining choice I've made when I travel was to look for diners, drive-ins and dives. I like trying out restaurants with local charm and recipes I'm not likely to find at home. I haven't bought this book yet, but I'm seriously thinking about it.

I was wandering about Twitter today and found a link to some lovely Orthodox and Pascha cards such as the greeting card below. Then, I also noticed a tweet at http://twitter.com/Starzraven that mentioned Zazzle is one of the partners at Upromise where you can funnel a percentage of shopping dollars into a fund to pay for college. With Zazzle it is 8% that is donated. I do recall having heard about Upromise after I got out of school so I hadn't needed it at the time. But, now I have little nephews in the family.
