I saw this book by Guy Fieri on The Price is Right yesterday on the Food Lover's Showcase. They gave a copy to all the members of the audience.
Back when I lived in Alaska and they didn't have an Olive Garden in the state I'd stop in at that national chain while I was on vacation. But, other than that excpetion, almost every other dining choice I've made when I travel was to look for diners, drive-ins and dives. I like trying out restaurants with local charm and recipes I'm not likely to find at home.
I haven't bought this book yet, but I'm seriously thinking about it.
