Back to Basics

I had a bloggin' thought about something, but I got distracted and worked on the template for the blog instead. I decided that I'd have the header match my website again. As lovely as that fairy was, I just thought that I'd go back to the basics. I'll probably end up changing the links blog that I use as well. I still have a few things to iron out if I want the blog to be "seamless", and I still need to update the links in the sidebar.

Oh yes, and I finished Urania's story and plan to jump right back in on another. That felt great.

  2. This is pretty, Annalee. And yay! on finishing the story. "The End" are two of the most bee-oo-tee-ful words in the English language.

  3. Thanks...

That particular story wasn't ending quickly for me either. Three weeks ago I was at 22,000 words, now I'm at 20,000 words. It took me 3 weeks to write -2000 words! LOL.

My Favorite Things

Thirteen of My Favorite Things Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens.... I love watching and singing along to a great musical. When I was a kid I used to run about singing like life was a musical. People would ask me what I was singing, but I was just making it up as I went. And I love dancing. I talked my mother into letting me take ballet lessons for a little while. But I wasn’t graceful and my ballet teacher didn’t have very liberal thoughts on teaching children. If you sucked, she let you know. But, she couldn’t ever accuse me of not enjoying dancing. All my favorite songs are either on soundtracks, or are great story like “Desperado” by the Eagles. Listing thirteen favorites might be the subject of another Thursday Thirteen. Some of the movie songs I’ve listened to while typing today: Da Funk by Daft Punk on The Saint soundtrack and #1 Crush by Mundy on the Romeo & Juliet soundtrack. Writing. I can get lost in writing. I love creating stories and characters. Apparently e
