I'm sitting in the living room, manning the door, staring at the candy with a growling stomach! I better eat dinner because I'll never burn it off unless I chase after the kids in the neighborhood and hand it out that way. ;)
Hey, tomorrow is the day that marks the start of National Novel Writing Month (http://www.nanowrimo.org/).

I've found the only way to burn off the candy is to set it on fire BEFORE you eat it. I've got enough here to put Hershey out of business...or keep them in business. I'm not sure which.
ReplyDeleteYes we have a ton of candy...aaah! My kids brought home so much it's ridiculous. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Nano!
Wow, I totally forgot about National Novel Writing Month.
ReplyDeleteHmm, already a day behind. . .
I told myself I wasn't going to pig out on it this year - but who was I kidding! :)
ReplyDeleteCole
My stomach still hurts from all the candy I ate.
ReplyDeleteI don't even want to think about candy. I've sworn it off.
ReplyDeleteAnd yay for NaNo!!! :)
Good luck with Nano! I've wanted to sign up, but have been too chicken.
ReplyDeleteThe candy is to help you keep your sanity through NaNo. Or at least that's what I tell myself every time I pop a piece in my mouth. :)
ReplyDeleteBernadette... burn the candy! Good idea. But then, if I had tons of Hersheys bars and set a fire in the yard I'd probably just get out the marshmallows and graham crackers instead. ;)
ReplyDeleteKaren, thanks.
ReplyDeletekybruno... Did you join up?
ReplyDeleteCole, Um-hmm... my goal is to still have candy available in the bucket by Christmas!
ReplyDeleteTess ... It's good motivation though. There's a real good chance I won't finish. But I'll try! LOL. I can write fast, but I'm so bad at editing while I write.
ReplyDeleteMonique/Debbie... Nano! Glad weekend is here.
Tonya... me too, I think! Oh no.
