Burning Hunger by Tawny Taylor

Feel the Burn!

Tawny Taylor is thrilled to announce Burning Hunger, the first book in her Twilight's Possession series, is up for sale at http://www.ellorascave.com/AuthorsBooks.asp?AuthorCode=TD!

Blurb:

Private detective Brea Maguire is on her first case, tracking down a stolen statue—the Sacred Triad—before it’s buried in the black market. Unfortunately, today—Friday the Thirteenth—isn’t her day. Being kidnapped from the mall by a pair of bizarre guys who put the Chippendales to shame, didn’t figure into her new career plans.

But Dayne and Marek have their own problems.

Dayne, forced into a blood-bond by the king with Marek, his sworn enemy, sees his chance to exact vengeance for his family’s slaughter slip away.

For Marek, the blood-bond with Dayne may be too little, too late. His enemies have learned the secret of the relic, which holds the only hope for a cure for his dying brother, the king.

The race to find the Triad is on.

Enter Brea. Marek can help her find the Triad, and use it to save his brother’s life, but only if she, too, enters the blood-bond. The burning hunger that accompanies it is a major complication none of them anticipated.

Two men, one woman—and a driving sexual hunger that none can resist, in a race against time to save one man—or destroy thousands.

Warning: This book is a menage a trois, and contains a scene with male/male sexual interaction.

Short excerpt:

Brea’s body was burning up. She was the meat in a Chippendale sandwich and God help her, she was loving it! Smooshed between two hot, impossibly sexy bodies, her shirt gone, her bared nipples teased to aching erection by the delicious friction against Number One’s shirt. Two sets of hands were exploring each other then her body, easing her out of the rest of her clothes, smoothing up her arms and down her sides. Two mouths were tickling her neck and shoulders with teasing kisses and soft nips.

Two voices murmured seductive promises.

Who would have thought it was possible? To be so lost? To experience such overwhelming need?

Before she fully realized it, she was unclothed and so were they.

Two perfect bodies. Toned, tanned and both possessing a latent power that stole the oxygen from her lungs.

Their expressions mirrored each other’s, both dark with desire. It was their looks, the heat she saw simmering in their eyes that drove her backward, until the back of her legs struck what she quickly realized was the bed.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy Burning Hunger. I love this book. It was a ton of fun to write and has all the elements I crave in a book--to die for (fangy) heroes, an action-packed plot, and a heroine who can handle it all.

My Favorite Things

Thirteen of My Favorite Things Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens.... I love watching and singing along to a great musical. When I was a kid I used to run about singing like life was a musical. People would ask me what I was singing, but I was just making it up as I went. And I love dancing. I talked my mother into letting me take ballet lessons for a little while. But I wasn’t graceful and my ballet teacher didn’t have very liberal thoughts on teaching children. If you sucked, she let you know. But, she couldn’t ever accuse me of not enjoying dancing. All my favorite songs are either on soundtracks, or are great story like “Desperado” by the Eagles. Listing thirteen favorites might be the subject of another Thursday Thirteen. Some of the movie songs I’ve listened to while typing today: Da Funk by Daft Punk on The Saint soundtrack and #1 Crush by Mundy on the Romeo & Juliet soundtrack. Writing. I can get lost in writing. I love creating stories and characters. Apparently e
