Blogger Buzz: Creator vs. Curator: "Post by Lisa Ding, Community Manager Of the blogs that I read every day, more than half are blogs that link me to news articles, websites,..."
An interesting post regarding styles of blogging: Creator or curator?
Most of the comments the bloggers are saying their creative, but the first one I checked was a blog post chock full of links here and there and everywhere.
I can see that I'm not ashamed to say that I am mostly curator. Most of my posts are to videos, pictures, links, products at Zazzle that I've found. Some of the products are my own, but quite a lot of them are to other artists, photographers and designers in a way of sharing the love so to speak.
Also, I don't worry a whole lot at all about trying to write the Great American Blog. If I wanted to focus on writing, I'd rededicate that time to my fiction and self-publish on Amazon Kindle.
As a curator, I suppose you could say that I've been using my Blogger here as if it was Google+ (or Buzz) for quite a few years now. Who knew at the time that I was ahead of the curve? LOL.
